The Rail Readers Book Club meets at the Las Cruces Railroad Museum at 11:00 am on the 3rd Wednesday of each month. On June 19 we will discuss J.A. Jance’s Web of Evil.
Leaving her home in Sedona, AZ, Ali Reynolds returns to Los Angeles for her final divorce hearing. When her soon-to-be ex-husband does not show up for the hearing and is later discovered murdered, she becomes the focus of the investigation.
Ali posts information about the murder on her blog, and unknowingly interferes with an ongoing DEA investigation. Ali realizes that there was much more going on in her husband’s life than she knew about. She must come to grips with her own actions in the past while she plans not only her husband’s funeral, but also those of his pregnant fiancée and her mother.
The museum is located at 351 N. Mesilla Street, at the intersection of Las Cruces Ave. For more information, visit the museum’s website at las-cruces.org/museums.
