Rail Readers Book Club meets at 11am on the 3rd Wednesday of the month. On October 17, 2018, we will discuss Rattle His Bones, written by Carola Dunn.
In Rattle His Bones, journalist Daisy Dalrymple often inadvertently becomes tangled up in murders. This time she is interviewing staff at Kensington’s Natural History Museum for an article about dinosaurs, when one of the curators is killed. Her natural curiosity and her skills as a journalist give her an advantage in unofficially helping her fiancé, Detective Chief Inspector Alec Fletcher of Scotland Yard. Adding to the mystery of the murder is a newly-discovered jewel theft, and Daisy sets out to prove the two crimes are related.
The museum is located at 351 N. Mesilla Street and is open Tuesday through Friday from 10am to 4:30pm and Saturday 9am to 4:30pm. For additional information, visit the website at: http://las-cruces.org/museums or call (575) 647-4480.
