The Las Cruces Railroad museum hosts special activities during the month of December for the whole family to enjoy! Choose an activity that fits your family, and enjoy it in our historic museum.
Beginning at 5pm on Friday, December 1, Santa will be the main attraction at the museum’s “Holiday Open House”. His arrival signals the start of festivities which include special holiday model trains; extravagant decorations throughout the building, including five beautiful Christmas trees; free crafts for kids; holiday music; and cider and cookies for all. Festivities end at 8pm.
The holiday trains and decorations will be on display throughout the month of December. The trees make wonderful backdrops for your family holiday pictures.
Coloring Club for Adults will meet from 10am–12pm on December 8 and December 22. This is a chance to enjoy socializing with other adults while expressing yourself creatively. Bring your own supplies or use our coloring pages and colored pencils.
All city museums will be closed Saturday – Tuesday, December 23 – 26.
The museum is located at 351 N. Mesilla Street and is open Tuesday through Friday from 10am to 4:30pm and Saturday 9am to 4:30pm. For additional information, visit museums.las-cruces.org or call (575) 647-4480.
