“Food Waste Management on a Micro Level: What You Can Do to Reduce Food Waste” by Mountain View Ma

Join Mountain View Market Co+op as they present “Food Waste Management on a Micro Level: What You Can Do to Reduce Food Waste” at the Branigan Cultural Center on Saturday, March 16, at 11am.

Staff members from Mountain View Market Co+op will be showcasing tips, techniques, and concepts for managing and minimizing food waste at the home level. This program is in conjunction with our current exhibit Our Global Kitchen: Food, Nature, Culture, toured by the American Museum of Natural History.

Our Global Kitchen: Food, Nature, Culture is an exhibit that elicits conversation about crop diversity, food waste, scarcity, and abundance as well as the future and means of production. The exhibit will be on display from March 1 until Saturday, April 20.

Admission is free to the Branigan Cultural Center, located at 501 North Main Street. The museum is open Tuesday through Friday from 10am to 4:30pm, and Saturday from 9am to 4:30pm. For addition information call (575) 541-2154.
