The Branigan Cultural Center will be celebrating the diversity in our local community on Saturday, October 7 from 10am to 1pm at the seventh annual Cultural Bazaar. Registration is not required and the event is free.
This family event features the traditions, art, dance, clothing, and other customs of more than a dozen cultures represented in Las Cruces. Student groups from NMSU and other community partners will be present demonstrating traditional customs. There will be opportunities to listen to music from a range of countries, learn about different cultures and customs, and appreciate the wide range of diverse cultures and nationalities found within Las Cruces.
Admission to the Branigan Cultural Center is free. The museum is located at 501 North Main Street and is open Tuesday – Friday from 10am to 4:30pm and Saturday, 9am to 4:30pm. For additional information, visit the website at: http://las-cruces.org/museums or call 575.541.2154.
