Education Station at the Museum of Art

Join the education staff at the Museum of Art on Saturday, February 9, 2019, at 2:30pm for a presentation about Salvador Dali, a Spanish painter and one of the world’s most well-known surrealist artists. Learn about his eccentric life and artistic career that has captured the imagination for over a century.

Following the presentation will be a short educational documentary about the art of Salvador Dali from the Dali Museum in St. Petersburg, Florida. The documentary is designed to teach kindergarten through 5th grade students about surrealism and how Dali’s art was inspired by dreams, math and science. After the documentary, participate in an activity inspired by Dali’s art. All materials will be provided by the museum.

The museum is located at 491 North Main Street and is open Tuesday through Friday from 10am to 4:30pm and Saturdays from 9am to 4:30pm. For additional information, visit our website at: or call 575-541-2137.
