Sixth Annual Cultural Bazaar, Oct. 29

The Branigan Cultural Center will be celebrating the diversity in our local community on Saturday, October 29 from 10am to 1pm at the sixth annual Cultural Bazaar. Registration is not required and the event is free.

This family event features the traditions, art, dance, clothing, and other customs of more than a dozen cultures represented in Las Cruces. Traditional dance, music and songs from different cultures will be performed throughout the day. Student groups from NMSU and other community partners will be present demonstrating traditional customs. There will be opportunities to listen to music from a range of countries, learn how to write your name in different alphabets, and appreciate the wide range of diverse cultures and nationalities found within Las Cruces.

Admission to the Branigan Cultural Center is free. The museum is located at 501 North Main Street and is open Tuesday – Friday from 10 am to 4:30 pm and Saturday, 9 am to 4:30 pm. For additional information, visit the website at: http://las-cruces.org/museums or call 575.541.2154.
